shampoos that I have tried. Not Your Mother's and Klorane are spray, Alterna is powder. My favorite is Klorane, but Not Your Mothers is almost as good and less expensive. Alterna worked, but I didn't like the smell and it made my scalp itch. It has been sitting in my cabinet for a few years.
These are 3 ingredients I used for a DIY dry shampoo. I like that they don't have the chemicals in them and, combined together, they do work as well as a store bought powder brand.
My overall winner is Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo. It doesn't itch my scalp, it adds the texture and volume I like and it is approximately $5.
